In the dominance of the boring and synthetic ice cream that has flooded the store shelves, Massimo Gelarty has rediscovered ice cream, using exclusively natural ingredients and ancient recipes of this world-beloved dessert in the Gelarty ice cream studio.
Gelarty ice cream studio & restaurant, opened in 2017, focuses on the combination of ice cream and food: a mustard ice cream burger, ginger ice cream tartare or caprese with pesto ice cream. Gelarty café glacé, on the other hand, will focus on combining impeccable coffee with Massimo's varied, correct ice cream.
“For me, the ideal harmony of tastes is coffee with ice cream. I even have such a daily routine - I eat ice cream with a cup of coffee - says Massimo. - But no one in the world has made a quality combination of these two products. Where delicious ice cream is so-so coffee, where good coffee is not very ice cream. Something is suffering. Therefore, the main feature of Gelarty café glacé is the highest level of ice cream, the highest level of coffee and their combination ”- he spoke about the concept of gelateria.
In the institution, in addition to the classic, alternative coffee from geysers, visitors will be able to taste two types of café glacé signature drinks, 6 Afogato varieties (a ball of ice cream and a flawless espresso) and 5 varieties of glace (two ice cream balls and a moka coffee). All drink recipes are original, but there are some really special ones - the glace recipe here will not consist of the classic combination of "ice cream + coffee", but - "ice cream + coffee + alcohol", creating a piquant taste and giving permission for a morning portion of sherry or liqueur in the most noble form.
In addition, visitors will be able to taste or take with them all Massimo Gelarty products, from a variety of popsicles, ice cream in balls and take-away options to complex ice cream desserts and sushi ice cream, which even the Japanese are trying for the first time with us. Also, the cafe will present special, even unique products from Massimo - beer ice cream and ice cream for dogs and raccoons. Therefore, you can safely come to a cold dessert with coffee with your favorites, which will also have something to feast on.
