JSC "Oschadbank" disclosed the personal data of its clients

We, the team that has been developing Gulliver BFC for many years, ensuring its stable operation and uninterrupted interaction with tenants, visitors and partners, officially declare:

We are outraged by both the very fact of the dubious change of ownership of the facility “under cover of night”, and the subsequent actions of the new manager. It seems that they are trying to “test us for loyalty”, imposing conditions that contradict both the principles of healthy interaction and elementary respect for people who have worked for years for the result.

Today, many of our colleagues received calls to their personal numbers from representatives of JSC “Oschadbank” with offers to transfer to work for the new manager. We consider this as an example of unfair HR practices and unacceptable interference in the personnel stability of the existing workforce, which can also be interpreted as anti-competitive actions within the meaning of the Law of Ukraine “On Protection against Unfair Competition”.

Of particular concern is the use of personal data of employees, in particular telephone numbers, collected as part of the bank's salary project. This data was provided exclusively for banking and financial purposes. Their use for personnel pressure is actually a violation of all possible ethical norms and principles of confidentiality. If this is how the state-owned bank builds trust with its salary project clients, then it is scary to imagine how the new manager will build further interaction with tenants, partners and visitors to the Gulliver BFK. Will their personal data not become an open base for the personal goals of bank employees?

Currently, with its actions, JSC Oschadbank violates even its own Code of Conduct (Ethics), published on its official website, which declares respect for personal data, ethical responsibility and transparency in relations with clients.

We do not understand what exactly they are trying to provoke us into. We are a team formed on the basis of trust, a common goal and mutual respect. We will not abandon our principles just because someone wanted to start with a “clean slate”. Perhaps in a world where there is no place for values, this model of behavior is considered normal. But we are used to working differently. With dignity. With responsibility. With dedication.

We remain in our workplaces and continue to perform our duties despite attempts to interfere. We expect respect for our choices and professionalism.
