Galina Yablonskaya is a heroic Ukrainian actress and public figure. People's Artist of the USSR (1982). Her first theater was the Vinnytsia Russian Drama Theater, where her parents played. She first appeared on stage at the age of six in a cameo role as a boy. At the age of eight, in 1936, she had already starred in Uncle Tom's Hut. During the Nazi occupation of Ukraine, she and her friend found themselves on a train to Germany, where slave labor awaited them. After several unsuccessful attempts, which ended in severe punishment, the friends managed to escape. Returning to the stage in 1944, she played episodic, small roles. The scene at that time was not only the call of the soul, but also the support of the family. Since 1951 Galina is at the stake of the National Theater. Ivana Franko has been appearing in the play The Lonely Lady (directed by Pyotr Ilchenko) for ten years. The jubilee hundredth performance was played on February 19, 2020. And in 2019 it was included in the "National Register of Records of Ukraine" with the wording "The longest period of performance on the stage - 83 years"
