On the occasion of Vyshyvanka Day, the Gulliver Shopping Center, together with the Ukrainian embroidered clothing brand SVARGA and the "Zemlyachki" public organization, initiated a charity photo exhibition "Embroidered Ukraine". The photo project can be seen from April 30 on the second floor of the mall, entrance is free.
Women defenders, paramedics, veterans, military volunteers - all those who defend the integrity of Ukraine - took part in the project. They are so different, but united, strong, invincible, so kind and close to each other, and most importantly, they are united by a common goal - the protection of the unity of our country.
"There are more than 62,000 women in the Defense Forces of Ukraine today, and all of them are from different parts of Ukraine. For effective work, women in advanced positions need comfortable and high-quality uniforms and ammunition, taking into account the anatomy of the body. It's not even about our support, it's about our respect for the military who choose our common present and future. Such art projects are an opportunity to reduce the gap between the civilian and military worlds and to join the fight for freedom by participating in a charity fundraiser for the needs of women defenders," says Ksenia Draganiuk, co-founder of the NGO "Zemlyachki".
The heroines are dressed in embroidered dresses from the "Embroidered Ukraine" collection of the same name, which includes ornaments from all regions of Ukraine and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
"The SVARGA brand has collected in "Embroidered Ukraine" ornaments from different regions within the region or district. The collection mentally stitches the entire country into a single national whole, creates a mosaic of ornaments on a large geographical map," said Natalia Yarysh, founder and CEO of the SVARGA brand.
The purpose of our project is to remind once again that there is no eastern and western Ukraine, there is one whole and unified country of ours. Kharkiv region, Kyiv region, Luhansk region, Yavoriv region, Donetsk region, Crimea - we are all Ukraine. And also to remind that regardless of whether we are at the front or in the rear, this is our joint struggle for freedom. You are either in the army or for the army.
Together we help and encourage you to join the charity project, designed to support women who defend our present and future in the Defense Forces of Ukraine. Each photo poster shows a QR code with a can of the public organization "Zemlyachki". All funds raised during the exhibition will be directed to sewing women's tactical uniforms for military women. When buying an embroidered shirt from the "Embroidered Ukraine" collection with the code word "Zemlyachki" - SVARGA will also donate 10% to a uniform for defenders.
The official opening of the exhibition will take place on May 2 at 5:30 p.m., on the second floor of the Gulliver Shopping Center. In the program: an introductory speech from the organizers and participants of the photo project.
The exhibition project will last until May 16 inclusive. And on Vyshyvanka Day, we invite you to visit the open presentation of the collection with the participation of women defenders, which will take place on May 16 at 6:30 p.m. in the central atrium of the shopping center.
